Description
Organic chemistry serves to study the structure, properties, production methods and chemical transformations of carbon compounds. within the subject, the chemical properties of hydrocarbons, their functional derivatives, polymers and biologically important organic compounds, as well as their application in industry, materials science, energy and food technologies are studied. as a result, students understand the structure-property relationships of organic substances and acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge to apply them in engineering activities.
