Course learning outcomes (CLO)

  1. CLO 1: Students will fully master the specific technological steps of powder metallurgy and advanced mechanical alloying processes. they will be able to analyze the physico-chemical volume phenomena occurring in the processes of obtaining, pressing and cooking (sintering) pure metal powders. in particular, the mechanisms of controlling the internal properties of hybrid and composite structures formed with the presence of components such as cast iron, graphite powder and microtalc will be studied. at the end of the course, students will be able to design complex materials through abrasive metallurgy that cannot be obtained by traditional smelting methods.
