Course learning outcomes (CLO)
CLO 1: This subject teaches students standardized control mechanisms for the quality of raw materials, intermediate products and finished alloys at all stages of metallurgical production. students will master the high precision measurement of major components and trace impurities in metals using spectroscopic (eg oes), chromatographic and chemical analysis techniques. also, the processes of calculating measurement errors, calibrating metric systems, and verifying the compliance of test results with international standards will be analyzed. at the end of the course, students will acquire the ability to freely apply quality management systems and perform metrological procedures in production enterprises.
