About the subject

Bu fənn dəmir, çuqun və polad istehsalının fiziki-kimyəvi əsaslarını, istehsal proseslərini və istifadə olunan ağır metallurji aqreqatların iş prinsipini kompleks şəkildə əhatə edir. domna sobalarında çuqun istehsalı, müxtəlif poladəritmə texnologiyaları və xammalın (aqlomerat, pelet) ilkin termiki hazırlanması detallı şəkildə öyrənilir. i̇stehsal zamanı cərəyan edən termodinamik reaksiyalar, fazalararası çevrilmələr və ərintilərin (məsələn, çuqun və qrafit strukturlaşması) formalaşması qanunauyğunluqları dərindən təhlil edilir. metalların legirlənməsi və mikrostrukturun idarə edilməsi vasitəsilə tələb olunan mexaniki xassələrə malik poladların alınması texnologiyalarına geniş yer verilir.

Course learning outcomes (CLO)

  1. CLO 1: At the end of the subject, the student has a deep knowledge of the entire metallurgical chain of iron and steel production (from the blast furnace process to the casting of steel). the student comparatively studies iron oxides and their reduction, cast iron production technologies, methods of melting steel in converter, marten and electric furnaces. the course covers methods of improving steel quality (vacuum, plasma, etc.) and liquid steel casting technologies (ingot, mold, continuous casting). the student also analyzes the processes of preventing defects in ingots and forming the structure. thus, the student is equipped with complete engineering knowledge for the technological management of ferrous metallurgical enterprises.
