About the programme
050624 – undergraduate education program on the specialty "mining engineering" aims to provide students with professional knowledge and skills in the field of mining engineering based on fundamental subjects (mathematics, physics, chemistry, geology) (open and underground processing of mineral deposits, mining machines and equipment, blasting of rocks, surveying works). consists of, teaching is conducted by student-oriented methods (lectures, laboratory works and seminars), is completed with experience in state enterprises or research laboratories, and graduates have the opportunity to work in the directions of design, production, scientific research, organizational-management and service-operation activities, in mining industry enterprises.
Degree requirements
The educational program must be prepared in accordance with the law of the republic of azerbaijan "on education", the relevant decisions of the cabinet of ministers and the classification of specialties at the bachelor's level of higher education, it must be mandatory for all higher education institutions operating in this specialty in the republic of azerbaijan, the learning outcomes for each subject and program must be defined, teaching and evaluation methods must be clearly reflected in the syllabi and continuously improved, the higher education institution must have the necessary infrastructure (auditorium, laboratories, ICT equipment, electronic library and databases output) and must have professors and teachers with relevant academic degrees, a contract must be signed with the relevant institution for the internship, and the program must be completed with an internship report.
