About the subject

Fənn müxtəlif növ faydalı qazıntı yataqlarının əmələgəlmə şəraitini, geoloji quruluşunu, mineraloji və morfoloji xüsusiyyətlərini tədqiq edir. yataqların kəşfiyyatı, onların sənaye əhəmiyyətinin və ehtiyatlarının qiymətləndirilməsi barədə fundamental nəzəri biliklər tələbələrə aşılanır. magmatik, çökmə və metamorfik mənşəli yataqların təsnifatı, onların qlobal tektonik zonalarda paylanma qanunauyğunluqları incələnir. tələbələr filiz kütlələrinin yatım şəraitini analiz etməklə, onların gələcək emal və metallurji istehsalata uyğunluğunu qiymətləndirməyi öyrənirlər.

Course learning outcomes (CLO)

  1. CLO 1: Through this subject, the student learns the origin (genesis) of mineral deposits, the conditions of their formation and their geological-structural characteristics. at the end of the course, the student is able to classify mineral deposits, describe the morphological characteristics of ore bodies and evaluate their industrial importance. the subject covers methods of collecting and analyzing geological data necessary for prospecting and exploration of deposits. the student acquires the opportunity to analyze the qualitative and quantitative indicators of the field from a geological and economic point of view. thus, the student fully forms the basis of geological reasoning for mining projects.
