Description
The subject "industrial internet of things" covers the basic principles of construction, integration and application of iot systems in industrial environments. within the subject, the architecture and main components of industrial iot systems, the working principles of sensors and actuators and their integration into systems are studied. network and communication technologies, iot protocols and platforms used in industrial environments, their characteristics and application areas are reviewed. students acquire knowledge and skills in data collection and transmission from sensors, establishment of inter-device communication through various communication protocols, as well as data processing based on edge and cloud technologies. in the educational process, attention is paid to the construction of sensor and actuator-based systems, the application of industrial communication technologies and protocols, as well as the practical implementation of industrial iot solutions. at the end of the course, students acquire the ability to analyze industrial iot systems within the concept of industry 4.0, choose appropriate communication technology and protocols, and develop simple iot solutions.
