About the programme

Systems engineering is a modern engineering field that teaches the design and management of various technical, information and organizational systems with a unified approach. the main goal of this specialty is to prepare specialists who can analyze the structure of complex systems, model their operation, ensure efficient use of resources and make optimal decisions. since the specialization is based on the integration of engineering, information technology, mathematical modeling and management sciences, graduates master the interaction of both technical systems and business and operational processes. engineers in this field must be able to evaluate the reliability, productivity and efficiency of systems, as well as develop innovative solutions to problems using modern software and analytical tools. the rapid development of digitization, automation, big data and artificial intelligence technologies increases the relevance of this specialty even more. the knowledge and skills acquired in this direction provide graduates with a solid foundation for scientific-research activity, project management, and professional development in the international labor market.

Degree requirements

The "systems engineering" undergraduate program is taught over a period of 4 years (8 semesters), and students are required to accumulate 240 ECTS credits to graduate. the curriculum is designed in accordance with the european credit transfer and collection system (ects) and is based on the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical engineering skills. the content of the program consists of 30 ECTS general education subjects, 30 ECTS fundamental (base) engineering subjects, 120 ECTS vocational training subjects and 60 ECTS vocational training elective subjects. this structure provides students with both solid fundamental engineering training and professional knowledge and skills in the design and management of complex technical and organizational systems. the curriculum includes subjects in higher mathematics, physics, autonomous systems and uavs, systems modeling and simulation, defense systems engineering, defense systems standards and compliance (mil-std, NATO stanag), defense systems project and program management. the teaching process is supported by lectures, laboratory exercises, computer simulations, industrial experience and other applied activities. at the end of the program, graduates acquire the professional skills of analysis, design, optimization and management of technical, information and management systems used in various fields and have the necessary training to operate in the defense industry, telecommunications sector and scientific research.
