Description
When preparing the working curriculum (syllabus) of the subject "automatic control in the electric power system", the educational program (framework document) of the master's level of the subject, approved by the order of the ministry of science and education of the republic of azerbaijan no. 3-29/32-548f/2025/1, dated "08" 09 2025, is taken as a basis. the subject "automatic control in electric power system" provides topics for mastering the basic concepts, theoretical knowledge and practical skills in this field to students studying at the master's level and is intended for those studying in the 90 kr program. the program teaches students to understand the basic principles of control systems, the behavior of energy and electromechanical systems, derive mathematical models of systems, analyze time and frequency response, evaluate stability and steady-state errors, and conduct system design with compensators and modern control methods. the program focuses on developing theoretical knowledge, analysis and application skills. before listening to the subject "automatic control in the electric power system", students should understand differential equations and their solution methods, laplace transform and its application in control systems, working with matrix operations and vectors, mathematical description of system models. at the same time, he should be able to read and work with block diagrams, understand the basics of signal flow graphs, calculate the input-output function of systems and describe them with simple graphs. "automatic control in power system" is related to power systems, electric machines and transformers, mechanics and electromechanics, mathematics (especially differential equations and laplace transform) and control systems. it is also related to computer programming and simulation disciplines, as students analyze system models with matlab/simulink or other simulation tools.
