Description
Tələbələrə materialların strukturunun formalaşması, gərginlik–deformasiya davranışı, atomlararası rabitə enerjisi, ərinti tərkibi və kristallik quruluşun xassələrə təsiri, mexaniki sınaq üsulları, möhkəmləndirmə mexanizmləri, çat və yorğunluq prosesləri, material seçimi prinsipləri və ərinti strukturunun idarə olunması barədə bilik və bacarıqların öyrədilməsi.
Course learning outcomes
CLO 1: Students will systematically master the tripartite relationship between the atomic-crystal structure, phase diagrams, and thermal processing regimes of metals. structural modifications (martensite, bainite, pearlite transformations) during heating and cooling in iron-carbon and other industrial alloys will be analyzed precisely. they will learn to design surface and bulk thermal treatment schemes for materials to meet specific engineering requirements. by the end of the subject, students will acquire the skills to significantly increase the mechanical endurance and operational resource of the material by controlling the microstructural changes.
