Bu kurs mühəndislik, xüsusən də dağ-mədən və materialşünaslıq ixtisasları üzrə ingilis dilində akademik və peşəkar ünsiyyət bacarıqlarını inkişaf etdirir. tələbələr sahəyə aid xüsusi texniki terminologiyanı mənimsəyir, elmi-texniki ədəbiyyatı sərbəst oxumaq və düzgün tərcümə etmək vərdişlərinə yiyələnirlər. texniki hesabatların, spesifikasiyaların və elmi məqalələrin (məsələn, APA 7 formatında istinadların verilməsi) ingilis dilində yazılması və strukturlaşdırılması qaydaları dərindən öyrənilir. beynəlxalq standartlarla işləmək, xarici elmi bazalardan ədəbiyyat icmalı toplamaq üçün zəruri olan dil bacarıqları formalaşdırılır.

Course learning outcomes (CLO)
CLO 1: This subject gives the student the opportunity to freely master the international terminology and technical literature related to mining and metallurgy. at the end of the course, the student acquires the ability to read and understand engineering projects in a foreign language and conduct technical documentation in the relevant field. the student is able to follow innovations and apply international engineering standards using foreign technical sources in his professional activity. the subject develops oral and written communication and ensures the student's participation in international projects and scientific conferences. as a result, the student has the opportunity to freely exchange ideas in his field and prepare technical presentations in technical english.
