About the programme

Aerospace engineering is a modern engineering field that combines aviation and space technologies. the main purpose of this qualification is to prepare highly qualified engineers who can design, manufacture, test and operate aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, rockets, satellites and other aerospace systems. since the specialization is based on the integration of mechanics, aerodynamics, electronics, materials science, automation and information technologies, graduates master the principles of operation of complex aerospace systems and their interaction. engineers in this field must be able to evaluate the safety, reliability, energy efficiency and operational characteristics of aircraft, as well as develop innovative technical solutions using modern engineering software. the rapid development of aerospace technologies, unmanned flight systems, satellite services and space research further increases the strategic importance and relevance of this specialty. the knowledge and skills acquired in this direction provide graduates with a solid foundation for scientific research activities, innovation projects and professional development in the international aerospace industry.

Degree requirements

The "aerospace engineering" undergraduate program is taught over a period of 4 years (8 semesters), and students are required to accumulate 240 ECTS credits to graduate. the curriculum is designed in accordance with the european credit transfer and collection system (ects) and is based on the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical engineering skills. the content of the program consists of 30 ECTS general education subjects, 30 ECTS fundamental (base) engineering subjects, 120 ECTS vocational training subjects and 60 ECTS vocational training elective subjects. this structure provides students with solid fundamental engineering training as well as professional knowledge and skills in the design, manufacture and operation of aerospace systems. the curriculum includes subjects in higher mathematics, physics, engineering graphics, materials science, applied mechanics, introduction to aerospace engineering, fundamentals of control, flight dynamics, guidance documents, radiolocation and radionavigation techniques. the teaching process is supported by lectures, laboratory exercises, computer simulations, industrial experience and other applied activities. at the end of the program, the graduates acquire the professional skills in the design, production, testing, operation and technical improvement of aircraft and space systems and have the necessary training to work in the aerospace industry, aviation, defense industry, scientific research and high technologies.
