Fənnin təsviri
This course focuses on the security principles, architectures, technologies, and emerging threats associated with cloud computing, virtualization, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV). It examines cloud security models, the shared responsibility model, hypervisor vulnerabilities, multi-tenancy risks, and resource isolation mechanisms. The course also explores SDN architecture, control and data plane security, controller vulnerabilities, API protection, and secure communication channels. Particular attention is given to NFV security risks, Service Function Chaining (SFC), 5G/6G network slicing, Zero Trust architecture, and microsegmentation. Students investigate modern cybersecurity threats and defensive strategies, including AI- and machine learning-based anomaly detection and intrusion prevention mechanisms. Through research activities, case studies, and project-based assignments, students develop the skills to analyze security vulnerabilities, evaluate cloud and software-defined network infrastructures, apply appropriate protection mechanisms, and design and present effective security solutions for dynamic, virtualized, and distributed network environments.
