This subject serves to study the composition, structure, physical-mechanical and operational properties of special purpose materials used in the preparation of weapons and weapon systems. within the scope of the subject, high-strength steels, light alloys, composite materials, special coatings and corrosion protection methods, as well as the reliability and durability of materials under various operating conditions are investigated. as a result, students acquire professional knowledge and skills in the selection, evaluation and application of materials for weapon systems.
