Description
The discipline "civil defense" is aimed at forming students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of prevention, assessment and liquidation of the consequences of natural, man-made, biological, ecological and military emergencies. as part of the course, the issues of protecting the population and territories, organizing notification and evacuation, applying means of individual and collective protection, providing first aid to victims, as well as preparing for actions and making the right decisions in emergency situations are studied. mastering the discipline promotes the development of safety culture, risk management skills and readiness for effective actions in emergency situations.
