Description
For the teaching of the subject “Labor Economics”, 60 classroom hours are allocated. Of these, 30 hours are assigned to lectures and 30 hours to practical classes. The students’ independent work amounts to 60 hours. This includes the completion and submission of independent tasks, preparation for lectures, seminars, and colloquiums. Students are given 1 to 5 independent tasks, or one task is assigned to a group of 2–5 students. Each independent task is evaluated with 1–10 points, and in total accounts for 10 points during the semester. If necessary, students may be given one more extensive and research-oriented independent task, which is also evaluated on a 10-point scale. At the end of the semester, student performance in the subject is evaluated as follows: attendance – 10 points, practical classes and colloquiums – 30 points, independent tasks – 10 points. The remaining 50 points are determined by the exam. Teaching of the subject concludes with an exam. The education program allocates 6 credits for this course.
