Description

The course “History of Economic Thought” is allocated 45 classroom hours, of which 30 hours are assigned to lectures and 15 hours to practical sessions. Students’ independent work amounts to 75 hours. This includes completing and submitting independent tasks, as well as preparation for lectures, seminars, laboratory sessions, and colloquiums. Students are assigned 1 to 5 independent tasks, or one task may be assigned to a group of 2–5 students. Each independent task is graded on a scale of 1–10 points, with a total of 10 points for the semester. If necessary, students may be given a more extensive and research-oriented independent task, which is also graded on a 10-point scale. At the end of the semester, student performance in the course is evaluated as follows: attendance – 10 points, practical sessions and colloquiums – 30 points, independent tasks – 10 points. The remaining 50 points are determined by the final exam. The course is scheduled to be delivered in the 2nd semester and concludes with an exam.
