"reliability of mechanical systems" subject 060630 is one of the important professional training subjects designed for graduate students studying at the master's level in the "mechanical engineering" specialty program. the main goal of teaching the subject is to teach undergraduates how to analyze the operation of various techniques that meet modern requirements, to justify the location of mechanical systems inside machines and equipment, to correctly select dynamic type parts and to ensure high reliability of systems during operation. within the framework of the course, the production, installation and operation processes of hydromechanical and hydro-automatic systems, including pump and pipe fitting equipment, which are widely used in various fields of production, are investigated. the regularities and complex dependencies occurring at all stages of the life cycle of technical systems are analyzed in the context of the "reliability" theory. at the same time, students are provided with the development of a dialectical worldview, the systematization of the acquired knowledge in the field of designing mechanical systems and transmissions, and the formation of the habits of a systematic approach to complex engineering problems. this subject provides future highly qualified specialists with the ability to develop highly competitive and safe engineering solutions in modern industry by comprehensively studying related fields.
