About the subject
The subject of civil protection provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge about the causes of emergency situations (natural, man-made, biological, ecological and military origin), assessment of their consequences, risk reduction, protection of the population and territories, warning and evacuation measures, use of individual and collective protective equipment, provision of first aid, as well as emergency preparedness and correct behavior. the subject serves the formation of safety culture in students, development of risk management skills and development of operative, correct decision-making competence in emergency situations.
