"pump and compressor stations" subject 050628 is one of the vocational training subjects intended for students studying at the bachelor's level in the "mechanical engineering" specialty. the main goal of teaching the subject is to teach students the working principles of pump and compressor equipment that ensures the transportation of liquid and gas mixtures in pipe transport. within the framework of the course, methods of selection, installation and operation of hydropneumo-automatic systems, dynamic type machines and power equipment that meet the requirements of modern technology are studied in depth. at the same time, students are formed the methods of systematic approach and dialectical worldview necessary for solving technological issues in the field of designing hydropneumatic systems and transmissions. this subject gives future specialists the ability to offer competitive engineering solutions, taking into account the complex processes and regularities that take place at all stages of the life cycle of technical systems.
