About the subject
The basics of tribology is to provide the necessary knowledge and skills for the future activity of a specialist in "mechanical engineering", including parts of machines and equipment, their construction, increasing the corrosion resistance of parts, the main features of ensuring the reliability of manufactured parts, factors affecting the corrosion resistance of machines and mechanisms during operation, processes that cause the loss of machine performance, and the selection of materials for manufactured machines and mechanisms.
