| CLO 1CLO-33081Students will master the processes of pouring various metallic materials in a liquid state into molds and turning them into details with complex shapes and whole macrostructures. in addition to traditional sand-clay moulds, hydro-dynamic properties of advanced technologies such as precision casting, centrifugal casting and pressure casting will be explored within the course. they will design optimal feeder systems by calculating crystallization zones, draw gaps and internal stresses in the casting during cooling. in conclusion, students will be able to establish cost-effective production routes considering the casting properties of different alloys (cast iron, steel, non-ferrous metals). | does not match | matches | does not match | does not match | does not match | matches | does not match |
