   CLO 1: This subject teaches students the production technologies of high-quality steels and ferroalloys (ferrosilicon, ferromanganese, ferrochrome) using electricity. students will be able to analyze the heat exchange processes and the thermodynamics of phase transformations in electric arc and induction furnaces. at the same time, they will develop waste-free and energy-saving smelting routes by controlling specific reduction processes and the melting regime of raw materials (ore, coke, flux). at the end of the course, the habits of adjusting the chemical composition of the alloy and carrying out purposeful alloying in metallurgical enterprises will be fully formed.
