Description
“materials science” refers to the main basic subject block of the specialty studied for undergraduate students in the direction of maşin mühəndisliyi. materials science is the science of the properties of metals and alloys; it establishes a connection between their composition, structure and properties, as well as the patterns of their changes under mechanical, thermal and other influences. the purpose of the subject is to train students to correctly select, in accordance with operational, technological and economic requirements, the material for the manufacture of structural parts and to assign the type of strengthening treatment.
