   Chemistry is the branch of science that studies matter, its composition, properties, and changes. it helps us understand the substances around us and how they react with each other. chemistry plays an important role in medicine, agriculture, industry, and environmental protection. it is one of the fundamental sciences and is closely related to physics and biology. the basic laws of chemistry explain how matter behaves during chemical reactions.
